Weekend science, religion, and etc. reading list

May 22, 2015

Sincere apologies adoring readers. Two weeks in a row without any posts save for the weekend reading. I *promise* to do better next week. Here’s a longer than usual list to make up for my indolence:

  1. A fascinating post from Adam Laats on creationism and job security.
  2. A Vox interview with Bill Nye where he says scientific literacy is unpatriotic.
  3. Girls like toys too!
  4. Creationism in Louisiana.
  5. A defense of teaching evaluations.
  6. Starting with this tweet, Senator Ben Sasse brilliantly expounds on MLKs 1963 Letter from a Birmingham jail. I strongly recommend you read through the entire thread.

Happy Memorial Day to my US readers. Have a good weekend to everyone else.
